THE HUNGER GAMES (1):

Synopsis: Every year, in Panem, it forces its twelve districts to send a girl and a boy (between 13 and 18 years old) to compete in The Hunger Games. This game is an event televised by the state in which 24 participants (tributes) have to fight each other until there is only one player left and therefore only one survivor and winner remains. The richest districts train for years those who in the future would volunteer to go to The Hunger Games.

Katniss Everdeen enunciated herself as a volunteer so her sister would be free to go. Katniss will have to make some decisions about humanity, survival and love.
