The skydiving

Skydiving is the technique of throwing human beings or objects to the ground with a parachute to stop the impact on the ground.
It can be done from a plane, helicopter.

The first attempt to jump in parachute took place in Cordoba (852), with partial success. Throughout the history trying to improve the method, there were several failed attempts. From then on, the parachutes became a habitual element of the equipment of the passengers in the balloons and after the First World War were adopted as security systems for the pilots and passengers of the airplanes.

During the Second World War, all the specialized troops in the air were equipped with individual parachutes, to facilitate their anchoring in the desired areas.
In the 1970s, the sport parachuting became very popular thanks to a system of quick release of the main parachute based on the three rings, designed by engineer Bill Booth, 2 that allowed anyone to easily practice the aforementioned sport aerial.

To jump from an aircraft, each paratrooper carries two parachutes: one main and one reserve that is inside one or two containers sewn to a harness. The containers can be placed on the back, on the chest or they can also be placed on the seat or on the lap. Additionally, the parachutes can use an emergency automatic opening system, which has been made mandatory in almost all jumping areas of the world.
