Tyler Garcia Posey

Tyler Garcia Posey (October 18, 1991, Santa Monica, California, United States), is an American actor and musician. He is best known for his role as Scott McCall in the television series Teen Wolf. He also plays bass in an unrecognized band called Perdido in Kostko. Although, on paper, Teen Wolf has been the most relevant, Tyler has had a major accident in the investigation of Raul Garcia in the series Doc and Ty Ventura in Maid in Manhattan. From 2000 to 2002 he maintained a relationship with the singer and actress Miley Cyrus, and from 2003 to 2014 he maintained a relationship with Seana Gorlick, with whom he planned to marry. He has won the Saturn Awards twice and the Teen Choice Awards on one occasion, in addition to having been nominated twice before. He has also won the ALMA awards.

Tyler Garcia Posey was born on October 18, 1991 in Santa Monica, California, United States, son of American actor and writer John Posey and Mexican Cyndi Garcia-Posey, as well as younger brother of Derek Posey and mayor of Jesse Posey. He grew up in Valencia, Santa Clarita neighborhood, and studied at Hart High School. From the age of six he began to act with his father. His first appearance on the big screen was as a filler character in the 2000 movie, Man of Honor, and two years later he played Mauro in collateral damage. With it, Tyler continued appearing in diverse films and series of television like Doc (2001), Maid in Manhattan (2002), Smallville (2006) and Brothers & Sisters (2006). In 2007, he auditioned for the role of Jacob Black in the Crespúculo saga, but the role was ultimately actor Taylor Lautner. In 2009, the role of Andrew Ortega in seven episodes of the series Lincoln Heights.
