The killing of elephants is reduced ... but very slowly

In the last five years poaching has been shrinking in Africa, but not fast enough

In the last seven years, 144,000 elephants have been killed, 30% of which were left.
In the case of Africa, a study recently revealed that the last wave of poaching cost more than 22 million euros per year in income from tourism to countries with the presence of these mammals.
has warned that significant improvements are also being seen in some regions, particularly in the east of the continent, where it has returned to 2008 levels.
