Handball
(RULES)
It measures 40 meters long and 20 meters wide.
Goal:
It measures two meters high and three meters wide.
Ball:
It is the only material that is needed to play handball.
For example in senior category:
-Men: a weight between 425 and 475 grams, and a circumference between 58 and 60 centimeters.
- Women: a weight between 325 and 400 grams, and a circumference between 54 and 56 centimeters.
Duration of the match:
Two parts of 30 minutes, with 10 minutes of rest between them. After the break the teams change their side of the field.
Players:
In attack:
- Goalkeeper: is the player who defends the goal of the team. He is the only player who can step on the area of his team and hit the ball with any part of his body.
- Ends: they are located in the corners of the field. They are very fast players and with a lot of jumping ability.
- Side: play along the sideline and about 9 meters. They tend to be tall players with a very powerful pitch.
- Pivot: plays right in the front of the area, with his back to the goal to see his teammates and receive the ball. They tend to be very strong and big players.
- Central: plays in the center of the field approximately at the height of the line of 9 meters. It is the player who organizes the attack of the team and distributes the game. He must be a player with great tactical vision, high decision-making ability and an excellent technique.
Vocabulario
Ataque estático: organización colectiva del ataque alrededor de una defensa reagrupada a lo largo de su área.
Defensa estática: agrupación defensiva y organizada delante de su área.
Lanzamiento liftado: amago de tiro pasando la mano bajo la pelota para ralentizar su velocidad.
El fly: tirar estando por encima del área. El jugador salta, recibe la pelota y tira contra la portería contraria antes de tocar el suelo.
La rosca: tiro en que el jugador da un efecto giratorio a la pelota.
La vaselina: tiro con una trayectoria de globo pasando por encima del portero.
Marcaje: estar encargado de limitar la acción ofensiva de un jugador.
Lanzamiento liftado: amago de tiro pasando la mano bajo la pelota para ralentizar su velocidad.
El fly: tirar estando por encima del área. El jugador salta, recibe la pelota y tira contra la portería contraria antes de tocar el suelo.
